OUR MISSION
The Shasta Climbers Coalition’s mission is to preserve and enhance climbing access in the greater Shasta region through education, stewardship, and community involvement.
WHO WE ARE
The Shasta Climbers Coalition is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, and growing climbing opportunities throughout Siskiyou and Shasta Counties. Serving the greater Shasta region, we work to enhance sustainable access, promote responsible stewardship, and support the long-term safety and viability of local climbing areas. The Coalition was founded by a small group of committed local climbers who recognized the need for organized advocacy and care for the places that define climbing in far Northern California.
As a federally recognized nonprofit, the Shasta Climbers Coalition is able to raise tax-deductible funds, build partnerships, and act on behalf of the climbing community to protect access and infrastructure across the region. Memberships and donations directly support stewardship projects, education, and responsible hardware management, ensuring that our climbing areas remain accessible for current and future generations.
